Recycle Junk Save Wildlife

The City of Georgetown Public Works has chosen All Things Wild as the community partner in the upcoming collection event on September

All Things Wild volunteers will be at the event accepting your donations.

The following items will be accepted for disposal:

Tires: Tires will be hauled to Reliable Tire Disposal for recycling

Scrap Metal, Lawn Equipment & Household Appliances (METAL ONLY): All metal will be hauled to Georgetown Metal Recycling. Money received will be donated to All Things Wild.

Mattresses: Texas Recycle Warehouse will collect mattresses and box springs on site. https://texasrecyclewarehouse.com/

Electronics: URT will collect electronic equipment including phones, computers, televisions, and other items that have a cord on-site. https://urtsolutions.com/

 Paper Shredding: Shred-It will accept paper bags or boxes of paper for shredding onsite. https://www.shredit.com/en-us

Furniture: Furniture in good, stable condition will be collected

Used or Unwanted Crayons:  Crayons will be collected and mailed to The Crayon Initiative to support their efforts https://thecrayoninitiative.org/

Unclaimed Items: There are always some items that are not in the above categories. We will have open top roll offs on site for landfill disposal.

Hazardous, commercial, and medical disposal is not permitted. People with these items will be directed to appropriate disposal locations or events.
