John Leek, a resident and volunteer snake wrangler in Sun City, will present a program looking at snakes in Texas. He will focus on a dozen or so of the most common snakes people in Georgetown are most likely to encounter, including the western diamond-back rattlesnake and the Texas coral snake. John will share some common-sense guidelines on what to do if encountering a snake and instructions to follow if you are bitten by a venomous snake. He hopes to bring along a couple of live snakes if he has them in his possession at the time. This will be a very interesting, family-friendly program that you don’t want to miss.
The program is family-friendly and free. Reservations open September 20. Seating is limited.
